oldie but goodie set is in good cosmetic condition, as noted. All tracks show minor wear and some loss of patina on silver parts but nothing major or something that would make one go
Uggggh!
Overall, they appear fairly clean and not subject to over-usage.
You the
expert
would know if any additional hardware is needed to lock pieces in place like with the old HO Aurora sets that I grew up on. I do not know about these;
sorry!
Though in packing this up, it does not seem so. (Please see all pictures for all that is included; it was impossible to tell if set is complete but I have inventoried as much as possible below.)

(5) 6 ¾” STRAIGHT PIECES (marked “D” in instructions): This set originally came w/ 5 pieces, so all are present. I “think” there is an extra one attached to the Lap Counter

(1) LARGE CURVED PIECE - LOOKS TO BE A LANE-CHANGING TRACK (marked “Y” in instructions): This matches the correct original amount from the factory.

(1) LARGE STRAIGHT PIECE - LOOKS TO BE A CRISS-CROSS LANE-CHANGING TRACK (marked “CE” in instructions): This matches the correct original amount from the factory.

(5) 13 ½” STRAIGHT PIECES (marked “B” in instructions): This matches the correct original amount.

(2) “W” STRAIGHT TRACK PIECES: This matches the correct original amount.

(2) Z1 STRAIGHT TRACK PIECES - Instruction Sheet shows there should be 1, but there are 2.

(3) CONTROLLERS - note that these show usage marks-scars on the outside; also, from improper storage, some of the Styrofoam that protected these stuck to the wires. I was able to remove much of it; I’ll leave it you and a little Goof Off® to to do the rest;
no biggie!
