Believe it or not, you used to have currency that was able to be converted to gold. And if you could still convert it, this note would have been turned in long ago! It is a 1922 Gold certificate with Freidberg number 1187. This is a decent looking note with the bold gold color on the front and the back that is in reasonable but not high grade. It has been graded Very Fine 25 by PCGS.
You don't have to take my word for the grade of the note, you just have to trust PCGS.
