    old certificates prior to the series of 1882
    are so rare and expensive that they are generally not considered collectible.
    This note is typical of 99% of the NGBN, that is to say well circulated.  However, this note has no major flaws or restoration.  It was evenly circulated and faces up nicely.
    The grader's note: washed: overprint and back design faded.  However,
    the all important coins vignette on the back is clear and sharp.
