    Description

    This magnificent group of six elephants was carved from a single piece of Teak.  The tusks are made of a light colored wood. It measures 30 inches wide, 11.5 inches high and 10 inches deep. Acquired in 1996 from Ayutthaya, Thailand.
    Ayutthaya was the ancient capital of Siam and is now famous for its ruins.  It is the nation's craft center.
