You are bidding on an Extremely Rare Complete Set of Five Original Full Color 27x40 Rolled Window Clingers from the 1998 Walt Disney Animated Classic MULAN (see photos)! These Five Window Clingers feature Mulan herself (the star of our show, with her faithful steed, Khan), Shang (the handsome leading man), Mushu (ancient comic relief), Cri-Kee (lucky charm) and Shan Yu (the ruthless Warlord Leader of the Huns, and his equally ruthless pet hawk)! And the Set comes in its own heavy-duty original shipping tube!
These Five Original Full Color 27x40 Window Clingers were created by the publicity department to use for display in the theaters that were showing the film. The idea of "Window Clingers", is that they are designed to be peeled off the base of the poster, and stuck onto the doors (or other glass areas) in the theater to promote the picture! Since these Window Clingers were never used, you have the choice of displaying each one in a frame as is, or actually peeling it off the base, and attaching it to a window or glass door in your home or office (and, sorry, I have no idea how long they stay stuck!). I have owned this Rare Set for over 20 years, when I got them at the Disney Studios. Now, it is time to find this very rare collectible Set a new home - preferably with a rabid fan of classic Disney or Mulan!
These Five Original Full Color 27x40 Window Clingers are in Excellent Condition with no tears or rips (and there are few Clingers around that haven't been used - or that are even identified properly as to what they are). And, it is even harder to get a Full Set of All Five together with the Original Shipping Tube!The only consideration, is that four of the Clingers have lifted slightly from the base in the lower left (which is what Clingers are designed to do). But there is no material missing, and if you decide to display these items flat in a frame, the separation will not be noticeable - and if you choose to peel off the Clingers, the separation also becomes irrelevant (see closer photos). And we are a non-smoking home, so there are no bad smells attached to any of our items - however, please note that in this case, there is a slight smell of the printer's ink on the Clingers, since heavy inks were used to apparently keep the colors from fading in the sun. So, in this case, this smell is a good thing!
