Norse hawk, knotwork engraved, with leather wrap

Odin Allfather has told us, never be far from your weapons of war.  With the beauty and function of this axe, you won't want to be! This cold steel norse hawk has been hand engraved with knotwork.  The set screw was removed and plugged. The 22" American hickory handle has been burned and covered with a twisted buckskin wrap with antique pewter studs.
Please note, the norse hawk is a traditional slip fit, or friction fit hawk. This means that the blade is not permanently affixed to the handle.  It is designed as such to not take damage during throwing.  If the blade comes loose, a few blows to the top (blade side) of the handle will tighten it up.  See pics for details and thanks for looking.
