    Description

    Very rare original Ford hubcap lug bolt cover for rear axle of 1930s heavy duty trucks. Made of pressed and polished stainless steel over a steel inner liner. Online research indicates this type of cap was used on 1934-39 1 1/2 ton trucks, commercial chassis, and 1937-39 COE cab over engine trucks. I do not know exact year, model or application for this example. 5 11/16" wide by 1 7/8" high. Good used condition, no bends or distortion, some edge dents, scrapes and scratches. The polished stainless is still shiny but could use a good buffing. The face with the Ford script oval insignia emblem logo nameplate is sharp and clear but all infill paint is gone. The attaching screw holes are clean with no distortion, the steel backing plate is dirty but in good shape with some surface rust.  Very hard to find, great for your collection, use as is on a driver or easily restored. U.S. buyers will pay .90 Priority shipping, International shipping cost will vary based on location.
