THE PRINCESS SET
MINT BOXED
This set is hardly been used and is in mint condition. It is a very early set from Richmond production of mid 1952 and pre dates the R set designation prefix given in late 1952. Perhaps what is unique about this set is it's remarkable condition. As such, it is the first set to actually bear the Triang name.
All items are in exceptional condition and test run only.
The Loco is in perfect condition and is a correct early version and the first type of Princess Locomotive to have metal wheels. Coupling type is correct for 1952 production.
Both coaches have the bends which is typical for the early production items and in as new condition and are the correct items with 1952 type couplings.
The track is correct period and shade supplied with this set.
Paperwork included are combined Instructions, Servicing and track information leaflet. Contained within the original battery box is a spare new controller with wires and original card wrap.
The box is in totally stunning condition. There is a piece of yellow card packing missing from the internal tray to the left of the track.
This is a Richmond production set and was later to become a very common, but as always, finding exceptional examples of these early production items is simply and genuinely rare.
