Description
This all tin 1950's Japanese friction car wasone of a set of twelve different vehicles. At one time I had the box that held them all but I can't seem to find it so I am listing each car seperately. The Red Cross Car is 4.25 inches (10.8 cm) long and 2.25 inches (5.7 cm) wide.
The car rolls forward on rubber edged rear drive wheels with tin front wheels.
Condition is very good with some very tiny spots of corrosion on the metal edges. The colors are bright and the surface shiny. The plain metal bumpers and bottom show some light spotting that is visible in the high resolution pictures but not so much to the naked eye. The friction mechanism works well.
The litho details are numerous and include people in the windows, along with details associated with the type of car. This car is a Red Cross car with a uniformed driver and uniformed woman passengers and a big red cross on the roof alomg with the words Red Cross.
