Vintage Porsgrund Norway FARMER'S ROSE  Cup w/Saucer Scalloped Edge / Super #3
Item: Vintage Porsgrund "Farmer's Rose" Scalloped Edge Cup with Saucer/Plate.
Farmer's Rose is among the most traditional Norwegian collections of china tableware.  It is made of high-fired feldspar porcelain in a white clear glossy glaze. It has a pattern that gives associations to folkloric Norwegian rosemaling decoration.  The coloring is in red, blue, and yellows on a white background. Very suitable for formal or informal dinnerware. Hard to find cup w/double handles and saucer.
Marks: Porsgrund Norway Signage and 85 on bottom of saucer and cup.
Measurements:  The cup measures approximately 3" across top and it is 2 3/8" high. The saucer/plate is 5 1/2" across.  There are many different styles of cups and saucers in the Farmer's Rose pattern so please check closely and ask questions prior to bidding.
Condition: Pre-owned with little to no use. No chips, cracks, or signs of repair. Bright clear and shiny. Gold edging is super nice, no signs of wear.
